Healthy Minds Program is now Freely Available for Individuals - Here’s Why:
As a nonprofit committed to building a kinder, wiser, more compassionate world, we are highly aware of not only the physical but mental toll of COVID-19. (You can see a message from our founder, Dr. Richard Davidson, on this topic.) This is a time of monumental adjustment, stress and ever changing news stories that can challenge individual well-being. We are committed to bringing our scientifically-backed tools to as many people as possible so that we can do our small part during the crisis.
As of March 18, 2020 our Healthy Minds Program App, which supports individuals on a path to well-being through the practice of awareness, connection, insight and purpose, is available for free to individuals. There is no subscription fee, and there are no requirements.

We are only able to make this offering available without a subscription because of our donors. If you want to support our mission and the availability of this app to individuals, you can donate here.
Now more than ever, our science-backed tools are needed by the world. In addition to our updates to the Healthy Minds Program, Healthy Minds Innovations and our partners at the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, are regularly providing resources for our community during this time.
- From how to talk to your kids about COVID-19 to multiple video practices, we recommend the Center for Healthy Minds’ Well-Being Toolkit.
- New practices to support us through this stressful time are now available in the mobile app, look for 💙COVID-19 Support on your home screen.
- Watch the recording of our public Webinar, Cultivating Purpose in Uncertain Times. Join us for an exploration of how purpose can guide us through these uncertain times. Learn more about the science of purpose and the skills to cultivate it for greater well-being, even during life’s most challenging moments.
- Weekly, we are offering live guided mediation on our Youtube channel. You can find links to live practices and other upcoming virtual events on Facebook.
Please spread the word so we can be a part of relieving suffering in this challenging time.
