Translating science into tools to cultivate and measure well-being
A kinder, wiser, more compassionate world
Healthy Minds Innovations, Inc. (HMI) was founded in 2014 by world-renowned neuroscientist, Dr. Richard Davidson.
HMI is an external, affiliated nonprofit dedicated to supporting the mission of the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which is to cultivate well-being and relieve suffering through a scientific understanding of the mind.
HMI takes the discoveries and insights gleaned from the Center’s research - as well as that of our own scientific team - and translates them into tools that help people around the world learn and build skills of well-being.
In addition to creating products and services and sharing them widely, HMI also manages philanthropic activities, public speaking engagements and special initiatives that bring the Center’s work into the world.
Our aim is to share this work as widely as possible, reaching the farthest corners of the globe to realize the vision we share with the Center: A kinder, wiser, more compassionate world.
