Healthy Minds Innovations receives grant to support mental health in teens

The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) announced more than $700,000 in grants to nonprofits, including Healthy Minds Innovations, which is leveraging technology to promote improved mental well-being among students and teachers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“At this challenging and uncertain time in the world today, it is particularly important to use simple tools to nurture our well-being. Scientific research has demonstrated that these simple tools can improve our emotion regulation and resilience and can enhance our social relationships. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to provide these tools to public school educators who are working under very difficult circumstances during this pandemic.”

Dr. Richard Davidson, Founder, Healthy Minds Innovations

Healthy Minds Innovations and the Center for Healthy Minds have a longstanding partnership with our local school district, the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD), and will apply this grant to continue working with them.
