We are facing a public health crisis of psychological well-being which limits our ability to flourish as individuals, communities and society. This crisis is also contributing to society’s most devastating problems such as depression, anxiety and suicide.
The good news is that the very mechanisms in our brains that allow these problems in society to emerge are also the source from which they can be solved. At Healthy Minds Innovations (HMI), we take the discoveries from the Center for Healthy Minds at UW–Madison and bring them out into the world. Our Healthy Minds Initiative has initially launched in the workplace with Healthy Minds @Work.
By supporting Healthy Minds Innovations, you’ll not only join us to create a kinder, wiser, more compassionate world but you’ll also become part of an amazing community of like-minded people who care deeply about others. HMI donors work together with our scientific community, product designers and staff to design innovative tools and help real people in real-life settings.
It takes a community to bring HMI’s work and message to the world. It takes you, and your support.
HMI is an external, affiliated 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to supporting the mission of the Center for Healthy Minds at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, which is to cultivate well-being and relieve suffering through a scientific understanding of the mind. Donations to HMI are managed through University of Wisconsin Foundation. If you’re interested in funding research at the Center for Healthy Minds, learn more here.
